We start with water: where the rain goes, where it stands, what the slope is. Without drainage the paving will ripple within a year and the lawn will drown. This is the boring part, but it decides whether the rest survives into a second season.
Then come paths, terraces, retaining walls, irrigation and light. Plants are chosen for the climate and the light on the plot, not from a catalogue picture.
Our approach
First we lay everything that goes underground: drainage, irrigation, cables for lighting. Paving and planting come after. The reverse order means digging up finished work.
